This is a quick guide to set up and configure emmetapp. We will also go through the app's functionality in more detail
NOTE: After installing emmetapp and giving it accessibility permissions, you can start setting up your spaces.
A space is a portion of your screen, that you can switch focus between, cycling windows in, and resize windows to. To create a space click on the Spaces tab under the emmetapp icon on your menubar. Then, click on the “+” button.
Now, there are two ways to create spaces ….
To create a space, simply draw a rectangle across the grid to select its size and position. When you lift your mouse you will be able to name the space and give it a hotkey.
If you would like to create custom pixel-perfect spaces, then the grid is probably not for you. Instead, you can create a space by switching to custom mode on the bottom floating menubar. Then, click on a window you would like to create a space out of. The position and size of the space would be identical to that of your windows. However, note that Spaces aren’t tied to windows or applications, so that window is only used to create the space.
